Ouch! The Patron Saint of Universal Salvation Liberalism speaks
I wonder how libs feel about their favorite bumper sticker icon defending private ownership of guns? "Among the many misdeeds of the British rule in India, history will look upon the act depriving a whole nation of arms as the blackest." ~Mohandas Gandhi
What, the poster child for non-violent protest supporting private ownership of guns? Next you'll be telling me that St. Francis wasn't a tree hugging new age hippie but an orthodox Catholic who wanted to convert the Muslims to the truth faith. I'm shocked, shocked!
(Was that sufficently sarcastic enough?)
I'm sure the historical revisionists will try & find a way to "put it in context" so that they can say it doesn't mean what it really means. Meanwhile, lets enjoy watching them squirm when the truth destroys their fantasy world once again.

I might cynically add that some would also say that this is what "development of doctrine" is. AFAIK, D of D is a pious theological opinion at best, not a doctrine in and of itself.
He was also agreed with the Pope about marriage!!!!http://www.independent.ie/opinion/analysis/gandhi-and-pope-paul-united-by-opposition-to-birth-control-1439677.html
