Well, cavedudes and cavechicks... I've been at this blog for more than a few years, and now's the time to bring it to an end.

I using all by creative juices punching up articles for the internet newspaper Examiner.com. So it goes without saying that I'll still be writing, just on a different medium.

Democrat Congressman defends bestiality authorization for Armed Forces
"[Not] really relevant to one's conduct as a military officer or an enlisted person"

Despite many claiming the recent National Defense Authorization Act repeal of the ban on bestiality by Service member was a hoax, certain members of Congress have addressed the recent vote to repeal the ban on sodomy and bestiality.

A member of the House Armed Services Committee, Rep. Rob Andrews (D-N.J.), stated in a recent interview with Cybercast News Service (CNSNews.com) that "he does not think whether someone engages in these behaviors is 'relevant to one's conduct as a military officer or an enlisted person.'"

Aussie terror plot to slaughter hundreds foiled

[Kill] 500 personnel, or as many people as possible..."

Australia's Sydney Morning Herald is reporting that three convicted terrorists have been sentenced to 18 years each in their plot to kill as many Australian Army personnel, to include family members, as possible.

The Associated Press (via the Boston Globe) is reporting that the Democratic-controlled US Senate has passed the $662 billion 2012 NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act).

The NDAA covers everything from jet strike fighters to housing for military families.

The forward thinking President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan

The Seattle Post-Intelligencer is reporting that Afghan president Hamid Karzai is pardoning a 19-year-old woman who was sentenced to 12 years in prison for being raped by a family member.

The unnamed woman was found guilty under Islamic sharia law of having sexual relations outside of the bonds of marriage.

In the original trial, the judge offered to free the victim if she agreed to marry her relative/rapist, but she refused.

Nohad Halawi, a Lebanese Christian who emigrated to Great Britain in 1977, is accusing her Muslim former fellow employees of unfairly conspiring to have her fired on account of her Christianity.

Pakistani government: "Jesus Christ" is vulgar, obscene, and harmful

The Vatican news agency Agenzia Fides is reporting that the Pakistani government is banning the phrase "Jesus Christ" from being texted.

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has issued an order to all national cell phone service providers that there now exists a listing of 1,600 strictly verboten words and phrases deemed vulgar, obscene, and harmful.

To clarify the rationale for the directive, the PTA stated that the freedom of Pakistanis is "subject to the limitations provided by the law, in the interest of the glory of Islam."

Obama vows to allow America becoming a second-rate military power

With the failure of the Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction, popularly known the Congressional "Super Committee," to agree on $1.5 trillion in spending cuts over the next ten years, automatic triggers for spending cuts are now in effect.

Embedded in the $1.2 trillion in automatic cuts is a scheduled $500 billion to be slashed from the US Armed Forces.

The Department of Defense is already slated to have $465 billion cut within the next ten years, totaling almost $1 trillion cut from the military.

Balls forbidden in Canadian school
Keep it spongy...

CTV of Canada is reporting that the students at Earl Beatty Jr. and Sr. Public School in Toronto are banned from having hard balls at their disposal for purposes of amusement or recreation while at school.

With the exception of spongy Nerf-style balls, everything from volleyballs to baseballs to tennis balls are now classified as strictly verboten.

Packages to troops "shameful" --- U of Alabama prez sends Care Package to Marine

Michael Avery, a professor at Massachusetts's Suffolk University Law School has stated that sending troops overseas what are commonly called Care Packages, "shameful", according to a report by Fox News.

Suffolk University has appealed campus-wide for various health and comfort items to be sent to troops deployed in Afghanistan.

Avery responded to the appeal by sending a five paragraph e-mail to his colleagues stating in part;
"'I think it is shameful that it is perceived as legitimate to solicit in an academic institution for support for men and women who have gone overseas to kill other human beings,' the Constitutional Law professor stated.

Amid rising calls for the NRA (National Restaurant Association) to lift the confidentiality agreement signed over a decade ago by Herman Cain's accusers, some interesting facts have very recently come to light.

~ The Washington Post is reporting that the the NRA has agreed to waive the confidentiality agreement signed by the involved parties involved in the accusations against Cain.

House Minority Leader, as blaming the Republican majority for the recent bump in the state's unemployment rise to 10.5 percent. North Carolina's Elon University recently polled 594 North Carolinians on a number of national topics and how they relate to them (4.02 +/- margin of error).

The Obama campaign has made no secret that they consider North Carolina a must-win battleground state in his Southern strategy to retain the White House in 2012.

The Elon Poll surely doesn't bode well for the president's re-election strategy at this point in the game.

Frank James, writer with the left-leaning National Public Radio, had some interesting comparisons and observations in regards to the president's visit to North Carolina State University in Raleigh this past Wednesday.

While speaking before an enthusiastic crowd of supporters at NCSU, the president was attempting to rally his faithful to support his recently unveiled American Jobs Act stimulus plan, complete with an almost $1 trillion price tag.

James noted that a spontaneous exchange between Obama and a rally supporter ended up eerily reminiscent of a New Testament exchange between Christ and Saint Peter.

9-11 flag suspected of being burned by vandals

"This is American soil, so who's doing this? Americans. What kind of American burns an American flag at a business? This is not a political rally or something; this is my place of business that I worked hard to create."

So said Jason Saucier, co-owner with his wife, Jennifer, of the local business Prima Day Spa.

As reported by Wilmington's WWAY, the couple placed an American flag in front of their place of business to commemorate those who were brutally killed by terrorists on 11 September, 2001.

As the couple returned today, they found the flag they flew to show respect for the heroic dead to be completely burned.

Mrs. Saucier was quoted as saying, "I just drove up this morning, and it was singed, gone. I'm just sick."

Local youth remember 9-11 with pain and sweat

Wilmington's Lewis kids come from a long line of those who serve others... and proud of it.

Dad (Tom) is a Navy vet as well as a retired New York City police officer, and mom (Tara) is a former Emergency Room nurse.

Both sides of the family have generations worth of both New York cops and fire fighters, as well as members of the Armed Forces, with a heavy emphasis towards the Marine Corps side of the equation.

Quite possibly because it's in their DNA, the oldest of the seven Lewis children, John (18); Molly (16); and Breda (15) have decided to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the terrorist attack by sacrificing a little pain and more than a little sweat to let Wilmington know that patriotism is alive and well in the young people of this nation.

Finally revealed 10 yrs later - 9/11 fighter jocks Kamikazie mission

The 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on this nation is today.

Even a decade later, there are acts of heroism, guts and courage that the American people are still just finding out about.

And personally speaking, acts that bring a lump to my throat and cause me to at least try and keep from tearing up.

One of those cases is the story of Colonel Marc Sasseville and Lieutenant Heather “Lucky” Penney of the 121st Fighter Squadron of the Washington, D.C. Air National Guard.

Here are but a few snippets of an article from the Washington Post, and believe me, a few snippets is all it takes to get the gist of the story. The day's fourth hijacked airliner seemed to be hurtling toward Washington, D.C. Penney, one of the first two combat pilots in the air that morning, was told to stop it.

The one thing she didn't have as she roared into the sky was live ammunition. Or missiles. Or anything to throw at a hostile aircraft.

Except her own plane. So that was the plan.

Because the surprise attacks were unfolding, in that innocent age, faster than their warplanes could be armed, Penney and her commanding officer went up to fly their jets straight into a Boeing 757.

"We wouldn't be shooting it down. We'd be ramming the aircraft," Penney recalls of that day. "I would essentially be a kamikaze pilot."

As reported by LoHud.com, the vice-president of The Muslim American Society of New York, Sharif Aly, placed the blame on law enforcement agencies located in New York's Westchester County.

Aly was quoted as stating, "We believe police, 99 percent of the time, do the right thing. Unfortunately, if they had shown a little more patience this time, tensions would have died down."

The Islamic group's veep went on to state, "All of the witnesses we've spoken to believe that the police used excessive force; bringing in over sixty patrol cars, with one hundred police arriving from nine departments, and that many who were arrested were merely caught in the melee."

The catalyst for brawl was Playland's long standing safety ban on headscarves on many of the rides. Many of the Muslims in attendance took affront that many of their womenfolk were barred from most of the rides due to their wearing of the Muslim hijab, or traditional women's headscarf.

"(Playland Amusement Park) is trying to make this about the dissemination of policy information," Aly said. "But the situation never would have occurred if it was handled appropriately."

Peter Tartaglia, Westchester County's Deputy Parks Commissioner cited a 2010 incident in Australlia in which a hijab clad Muslim woman was strangled to death by her own headgear when it wrapped around the axle of an amusement park go-kart.

Tartaglia also said that Playland has to date, never experienced any similar incident.

Writer David Menzies of the Toronto Sun writes of an episode that happened to he and his 9-year-old son, Sean, experienced recently at Toronto's version of Times Square (but probably much cleaner), Yonge-Dundas Square.

A few months ago I commented on the hard left-leaning media in Great Britain.

Not thinking they could slouch any lower, it was my distinct displeasure to read what passes for news at the Burnley Express.

In regards to a recent English Defence League demonstration in the English town of Brierfield, the Express gave the requisite definition of "right-wing group" and without fail, the description of "suspected members" was applied.

With the predictability of fisticuffs and all-around poor attitudes at the Paint Mohammed by Numbers Contest, there was scant mention of "moving cars were vandalised by an Asian heritage group."

And while I'm at it... what in the world is an "Asian heritage group"? Is that anything like the Islamabad Japatis and Beheading Appreciation Society? Just curious.

Police Captain nailed for refusing to attend Islamic event

As reported by KOTV of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Captain Paul Fields of the Tulsa Police Department has officially been suspended for two weeks without pay, will not even be considered for promotion for a full year, and has been threatened with greater punishment to include losing his job.

Why?

Complete with a tour of the mosque, observing a Muslim prayer service, and lectures on Islamic beliefs, Captain Fields was ordered to attend a "Law Enforcement Appreciation Day" even sponsored by the Islamic Society of Tulsa.

At 6:00 AM, 14 June, 2011, Kenneth Wright of Stockton, California had his front door kicked in, he was dragged out to his front lawn wearing dressed only in his underwear, handcuffed and then kept in a police care for hours for questioning.

BBC reporter arrested for being member in Islamo-Terror group

I know this will come as a shock to many, but a reporter for the notoriously hard-leftist British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has been arrested in the Central Asian nation of Tajikistan.

And what was this objective journalist popped for?

According to a statement from government spokesman Makhmadullo Asadulloyev, the reporter from Auntie Beeb, Urunbay Usmonov, was arrested for;

America, meet Stephen Lennon - Britain's Sacrificial Lamb

In March of 2009, troops of the 2nd Battalion, Royal Anglian Regiment returned home to Great Britain from a combat tour of duty in Iraq.

Thousands of decent, hard working and patriotic British citizens of all races, colors, and creeds were there to welcome the heroes home.

Also in the crowd were members of something called Muslims Against Crusades.

Member of this Islamist group carried signs that stated "Anglian Soldiers: Butchers of Basra" and "Anglian Soldiers: cowards, killers, extremists."

This was the catalyst for young Stephen Lennon take a courageous (and ever so politically incorrect) stand against the the Islamification of his Sceptred Isle.

Lennon (who has also gone by the pseudonym of Tommy Robison due to death threats) now leads the English Defence League, whose mission statement clearly rejects all forms of racism, bigotry and prejudice.

And in spite of British police being accused of covering up Muslim crime in London, it's Lennon who's arrested for allegedly committing common assault during a march earlier this year in Blackburn, England.

Report: Rape and kidnapping of Christian girls in Pakistan on the rise

The hyper-sensitivity/hyper-outrage of many Muslims is a puzzling thing to me.

As I've posted before, the mere suggestion by the British government to cease forking over millions of tax payer pounds to certain Muslim extremist groups has caused quite the backlash and claims of "anti-Islam" and "Islamophobia".

Should I even mention the killings, mass riots and destruction over a cartoon of the false-prophet Mohammed?

Quicker than you can say "I keel you all!", certain Sons of the Burning Sands crank up the Jihad-O-Meter all the way to eleven (they go to eleven, you know).

But what if it's Muslims that are the ones doing oppressing?

Is the outrage still there... do riots break out... is the mainstream Muslim press ready to vehemently condemn?

Umm, not so much.

"Terrorism works" Muslim preacher tells British university students

There's a truism for recovering alcoholics that no recovery can begin until the alcoholic in question admits a problem exists.

Looks as if Great Britain is finally feel the effect of the blinding hangover from its self-induced PC bender.

The Telegraph of London is reporting that in a University College London review of a 2005 speech by Muslim convert, Brit-born and bred Abdur Raheem (formerly Anthony) Green, he stated that a “permanent state of war exists between the people of Islam and the people who opposed Islam”.

The Telegraph also adds that Green cited the IRA when he said: “The other thing is that it seems that terrorism works. We certainly have precedent.”

Liberals don't even understand what they defend - in this case, Sharia Law

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that liberals are ever-so-open minded, that all their brains have fallen out?

Case in point - an individual who goes by the Nom de Internet of "SixDollarLiberal" over at the über-liberal Daily Kos, has just out-wussied every other wussy over at the DK by penning his Magnum Wussius entitled "In Defense of Sharia".

After reading his drivel, I'm firmly convinced that when adjusted for inflation, SixDollarLiberal owes us money.

But I digress... poor misguided 6$L is under the impression that Sharia Law is nothing more than Muslims attending mosque (as compared to synagogue?), scarfing down shawarmas and room temperature goat's milk, and being buried a certain way.

Massimo Introvigne, a Sociologist with a European security organization, has informed the group that the slaughter of Christians has become such a world-wide problem that a Christian is martyred once ever five minutes.

According to Zenit.org, during a conference on Christian-Jewish-Muslim interfaith dialogue for the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), Introvigne reported that Christians killed every year for their faith number 105,000, and that number includes only those put to death simply because they are Christians.
