I knew it wasn't "Captain's Mast" as we used in the Navy, although at sea an FMF "Office Hours" might be called "Captain's Mast?" . . . depending upon the convening authority????

I loved the old green utilities. Yeah... how fun!!)

And we don't call NJP 'Article 15'. For some bizzarre reason, we call it 'Office Hours'. Non-Judicial Punishment with all the trappings of a judicial proceeding.

Oh, but to answer your question - that 'pixel-style' camo uniform came out after I had already retired ('97).

When I first came in, I was issued the old Sateens (like what the SEALS wear at BUDS and UDT School. Now THAT was a damn good uniform! Sturdy, comfortable, the half-life of plutonium, etc, etc. Ya just couldn't WEAR-OUT a set of the old Sateens!!Kevin Whitemanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07019976622801954677noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18853193.post-13130564863934139902009-06-18T23:04:45.970-05:002009-06-18T23:04:45.970-05:00Wow, the age of admission to the Corps seems to ha...Wow, the age of admission to the Corps seems to have been lowered somewhat.
