Why in the world should any of us "petition" for what is to be freely given?

Could any of us even imagine Marines in the field "petitioning" for C-Rats (or MRE's, or T-Rats... or whatever the hell they're called now-a-days.)

Fr. Z's last comment is the following; [No disagreement there! The problem is how to get it for them without screwing everything up!]

OK, Father, here's how we can get it for them without "screwing everything up".

1. Chaplains who so desire to attend training sessions to learn the TLM get their admin pouges to schedule them to attend training at the most convenient location.

2. Chaplains attend said training.

3. Chaplains start celebrating the TLM at military chapels world-wide.

Now wasn't THAT easy? Honestly... why are there so many out there that want to make this so hard? And this nonsense about "only 150 people signed it" is just that... nonsense. Is SP now requiring that over X amount of people sign a petition before it can be implimented?

Anyhow, does anyone out there really think that every training session that chaplains attend HAVE to be ran by the Military Archbishop first? ESPECIALLY training on something that The Holy Father himself has authorized? Of course not.

Respectfully,
Vir Speluncae Catholicus
MSgt USMC (ret)Kevin Whitemanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07019976622801954677noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18853193.post-671440860131412732008-04-06T14:36:00.000-05:002008-04-06T14:36:00.000-05:00Hey Cavey:The new blog address I told you about to...Hey Cavey:
The new blog address I told you about today is holycookie.blogspot.com
I'm keeping the old blog up, but as soon as I can work out some kinks with Blogger, this one will be my primary blog.
See you there!Cookiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03293284663334506224noreply@blogger.com
