A "minister" is someone who *administers* the government or a portion thereof. A "secretary" simply records things, usu. in written form.

- In ridding the U.S. of our monarchy, it appears as if the Founding Fathers might have shot themselves and their posterity in the foot.

- Now that the Constitution is a "living document", it appears to be working just fine... since it can mean anything the supreme Court wants it to mean at the time.Geoffrey Gilberthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04892413353061949813noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18853193.post-1152798623930458982006-07-13T08:50:00.000-05:002006-07-13T08:50:00.000-05:00Why does it worry you? Just think, if we absorb Mexico and Canada, our southernmost border will be smaller (and thereby more defensible) and we won't have a northern border. We can add a Maple Leaf and a Cactus to the 50 stars on the blue field of our flag. There's oodles of benefits, and pitfalls, but I don't think that it would be the end of the world.Brother Jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05697860817229595126noreply@blogger.com
