NPR: Obama in North Carolina - Echoes of Jesus?

"If You Love Me... Pass This Bill (or possibly Feed My Sheep?)"

Frank James, writer with the left-leaning National Public Radio, had some interesting comparisons and observations in regards to the president's visit to North Carolina State University in Raleigh this past Wednesday.

While speaking before an enthusiastic crowd of supporters at NCSU, the president was attempting to rally his faithful to support his recently unveiled American Jobs Act stimulus plan, complete with an almost $1 trillion price tag.

James noted that a spontaneous exchange between Obama and a rally supporter ended up eerily reminiscent of a New Testament exchange between Christ and Saint Peter.

Can this man really be the POTUS?!!! Such behaviour is so unseemly of a 50-year-old man much less the President.

The only thing missing was Obama wearing a wife-beater t-shirt and offering a bouquet of roses.
Good Lord!
