When Easter Eggs became "Spring Spheres"

A certain public school in Seattle, Washington has banned the phrase "Easter Eggs".

MYNorthwest.com is reporting that a local (private) high school sophomore named Jessica volunteered to work at a local public school as part of a class community service project.

Jessica has asked that her last name as well as the name of her high school remain anonymous.

After a week of bonding with the 3d Graders she was assigned to, she asked the teacher if it would be permissible to give each of the children "little plastic eggs with treats and jelly beans and other candy".

Ahh... but then Political Correctness reared its ugly head.
