"U.S. Air Force and Marine attack planes struck targets in Libya..." According to ForeignPolicy.com, on 18 March. 2011, the Deputy National Security Advisor Denis McDonough stated in a conference call with top Congressional staffers; (Emphasis mine)
"The president expects the preponderance of our involvement to last a matter of days, not weeks."
