Death tax on a child that only lived for one hour

KTVB of Boise, Idaho is reporting that Olivia Clark lived for only one hour. Doctors didn't even expect her to survive birth. So, her family has a hard time understanding why the King County Medical Examiner has to review her death and charge $50.

"There was a little line on there near the bottom of the bill that said 'King county death tax: $50.' And we looked at that, and looked at that and looked at each other and said 'what is that?' Couldn't believe that a little girl that lived for an hour has to pay a $50 tax," said grandfather Larry Clark.

Can we get a post on the upcoming movie "The Rite?" It looks like an interesting movie but I haven't read the book its based off of yet. What do you this? What has the Vatican said?

What they should do is try to get the $50 from the deceased, the miserable @ssholes.

I never heard of such a tax. When I die, they can just bill me for it!
