"Catholic" priest and family throw softballs at Obama

The Catholic News Service is reporting that in his swing through the nation, Barack Hussein Obama chose the home of a self-described Catholic family for a question and answer period.

Never was Obama questioned by any of the Catholics in attendance, to include a Catholic priest and a Catholic school teacher, in regards to Obama's stint as an Illinois state senator, why he three times failed to vote in favor of the Induced Infant Liability Act (he simply voted "present"), which would have granted "person" status to any child who might have survived the abortion procedure.

And never did any of these "Catholics" question Obama of his support for the slaughter of millions of unborn children every year in this country. Catholic family's backyard is a stop for Obama on his swing through Iowa

Link between Homosexual Adoption and Human Trafficking?

It's being reported by CNA that the Secretary of State for Family Policy in Italy, Carlo Giovanardi, stated in an interview this week that he believes there is a connection between adoption by same-sex couples and the increase in the human trafficking of minors.

In the interview with political analyst Klaus Davi, Giovanardi noted that “where the adoption by gay couples is allowed, such as in the U.S. and Brazil,” the countries have exploded with the “buying and selling of children.”

Military Archbishop slams “Not legitimately Catholic” pro-homosexual group

The Catholic News Agency is reporting that His Excellency Timothy Broglio, Archbishop for the Military Services, has received a letter from a group calling itself “Catholics for Equality” urging repeal of the “Don't Ask, Don't Tell” policy, the Archbishop for Military Services responded that the group “cannot be legitimately recognized as Catholic.”

Catholics for Equality had requested a meeting with Archbishop for the Military Services Timothy Broglio, claiming he offered misleading and false arguments in his June 1 statement against allowing open homosexuals to serve in the U.S. military.

In a Sept. 20 statement responding to a CNA inquiry, Archbishop Broglio said the Archdiocese for the Military Services has a clear position on a change in the present policy concerning the service of persons who “openly manifest a homosexual orientation.”

In a June 1 statement, Archbishop Broglio opposed the policy change, saying moral beliefs should not be sacrificed for “merely political considerations.” He said Catholic chaplains can never condone homosexual behavior. Read more...

Mohammedan cleric calls for beheading Dutch politician

Just a few short weeks ago, a rather obscure pastor in Florida, Terry Jones, calls for a public burning of the koran.

Cries of condemnation came from all quarters. From both Republican and Democrat politicians (to include the Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton); to the US Commander on Afghanistan, General David Petraeus; to foreign governments; to mobs of mohammedan thugs threatening 'Holy War', other than the one currently under way against The Great Satan.

But when Australian-born moslem cleric Feiz Muhammad calls for the beheading of Dutch Parliamentarian Geert Wilders, very few eyebrows were raised by the very same politcians, military leader foreign governments or mobs.

"You're in Ireland now!" - Assault on The Eucharist

It's being reported in The Irish Times and Rorate Caeli that an unnamed individual grabbed The Eucharist from the ciborium during the Celebration of the Traditional Latin Mass at the Shrine of Our Lady of Knock, in the process, the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Christ was thrown onto the ground.

The individual objected to receiving the Eucharist on his tongue, as is the rubric of Latin Mass, as he insisted on receiving Holy Communion in the hand.

Fr Wulfran Lebocq, of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest, quietly told the individual to take communion on his tongue, in accordance with the traditional Latin rite.

According to onlookers, the communicant told the priest: "You're in Ireland now".

My dear people of God,

How is one to react to a single judge declaring that homosexuals have a right to be married, overturning the clear will of the majority of the people as expressed in proposition 8? Here are ten brief thoughts:

The judge, who is homosexual himself, ethically should have recused himself as he is in the position to benefit financially from a possible homosexual marriage for himself, with tax benefits, etc. His impartiality can certainly be questioned.

The judge redefined “marriage,” actually making it the same as “a committed relationship or friendship” between any two persons, with no relationship essentially to children or family.

The ruling by its very arguments is imposing the homosexual agenda on the rest of society, and is a form of social engineering according to the judge’s ideology.

So WHY did Obama delete the reference to God?
Commentary

As I posted yesterday, in a recent speech to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, Barack Hussein Obama ensured he deleted the reference to God the Father as written in the Preamble to the Declaration of Independence.

Could that have been a simple slip of the tongue? Possibly the words just escaped him for the moment?

Hardly. Remember gang, Obama doesn't sing in the shower without a teleprompter. Shocking, isn't it?

Anyhow, so why the deletion? Simple... I don't think Barack Hussein Obama believes in God. Or at least the God as referenced by the Founding Fathers in that particular document each and every one of them signed.

You see, the Founding Fathers were referencing the Christian God the Father. You know... the Loving God; the God of free will; the God who gave up His only begotten Son who willingly offered up Himself to be the Paschal Sacrifice for us all.

Obama deletes God

Alleged Christian Barack Hussein Obama has taken it upon himself to delete the reference to God the Father from the Preamble of the Declaration of Independence.

In a speech Friday evening to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, Obama took it upon himself to delete the word "Creator" at the 22:30 mark.

What the Founding Fathers signed actually stated, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights..."

Too fat to fight

Without even walking into the recruiter's office, it's already been determined that roughly 3 out of every 4 American youth are ineligible to serve in the Armed Forces.

The three main reasons;

1. Obesity.

2. High school drop-out.

3. Police record. Long story short, America youth is becoming fat, stupid and criminal.

The California Catholic Daily is reporting that Sacramento's Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament played host to various sects to include pagans, in response to the scheduled and since called-off koran burning in Florida.

So with all the hullabaloo about the Quran burning, I think we have lost sight of something. First as I understand it muslims are to follow the 10 Commandments. Their prophet Mohammed who inspired, was recorded, or wrote (not clear which) the Hadith contradicts the 10 Commandments. We all know the 8th Commandment, "Thou Shalt not Bear False Witness Against thy Neighbor". Some of us have learned that muslims are not only "allowed" to lie, but are encouraged to lie in order defeat the unbeliever (non-muslims). See link for explanations.

As a Catholic I know of no instance where it is acceptable for me to lie. If I do I must confess my sin because I have put myself outside of God's grace. If I compound that lie by committing the act with the full awareness that I can just go to the closest Priest and confess that would be a presumption of God's mercy. This is also a sin which cannot be absolved unless spoken in a confessional as well to wit your confessor could choose not to grant absolution. That would be extreme but that is the chance you would be taking. In either case regardless of the forgiveness one would receive we learn that we are damaging our souls each time we sin.

A Priest once told me that sin is like a nail that gets put into a fresh piece of drywall. When you go to confession the nail gets pulled out but the hole is still there, it cannot be repaired until purgatory. Catholics understand that ANY sin harms the soul and that there are no exceptions to that. Frankly any faith that tells you that you can use the tools of satan (death, force, and deciet) in order to win converts or destroy opposition is being decieved.

Muslims must begin to think long and hard on who would benefit if they were lead astray from the 10 Commandments. There is only one I know of and that is Satan.

Should this man burn the Quran? In my opinion no, but not because it would offend muslims. I don't think he should because in the end it will make it harder to convert muslims.

"Religion of Peace" hijacked, or going down the same old road?

I just received a not from an old friend of mine from my Marine Corps days (who happens to be the pastor of one of the Calvary Chapels in the Mid-West).

As the Skipper eruditely pointed out, in part; "Both the president and General Petraeus have warned that this could risk the lives of our soldiers.

Obama said, "I just want [Jones] to understand that this stunt that he is talking about pulling could greatly endanger our young men and women who are in uniform." So are Obama and Petraeus prejudiced, because it sounds to me like they’re simply assuming that Muslims are gonna get violent about this? Jones told Nightline, “[Islam] is a very dangerous religion.” It seems our leadership and many Americans completely agree.

What happened to Islam being a religion of peace?" "Religion of Peace" indeed.

Wasn't that the same "Religion of Peace" that invaded Europe that was stopped cold by the Catholic army of Charles the Hammer at Tours, France in the 700's? Note: the attacking moslem army was honchoed by the Emir of Cordoba. As in 'The Cordoba mosque' proposed to be built at Ground Zero.

The koran and the First Amendment

This Saturday is the ninth anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the United States.

To commemorate this, Pastor Terry Jones of the Dove World Outreach in Florida wants to publicly burn copies of the koran. Jones has states that in his opinion, "Islam is of the devil".

Notables ranging from the NATO Secretary General, to the FBI, to the top American General in Afghanistan have spoken out about this.

The koran also calls upon moslems to kill non-moslems, as well as insults both Jesus Christ and His mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The Running Of The Saints
A tradition on the rebound here in The States?

From St. Anne's Catholic Church (TLM only) in San Diego, California. My hometown!

On Sunday July 25 2010 about 60 men of the parish "ran with the saints" as the high point for the parish's two day fiesta in honor of Saint Anne. There were two biers, one for St. Michael and one for Saint Anne. They weighed 400 and 350 pounds respectively. Eight men carried the bier itself while others on the team jogged nearby ready for their turn.

Irving Street, which the church fronts, was closed for one half of a mile to Caesar Chavez Boulevard. The men carried the biers from the church to Caesar Chavez Boulevard and back for a round trip of one mile.

The purpose of the exercise is to make a public statement of devotion to the saints. The Running of the Saints is like a tradition parade-like procession, but with a greater element of public devotion and penance.

The music being played during the video is a recording of the parish choir during Mass.

One last thing: it was NOT a race.

Soon to be old young men

As is the tradition for the San Diego Padres, every home game on Sunday's is Military Appreciation Day. And without fail, one of the Recruit Training Companies from nearby Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, is on hand as guests of the Padres for the day.

Usually around the 4th Inning, the Marines' Hymn is played over the PA system, and as the Drill Instructors and Recruits snap to silent attention, the entire stadium turns towards the Marine Corps contingent from MCRD and starts in on the singing.

The Padres themselves join in... even the umps and members of the visiting team get caught up in the moment.

And it really is a nice thing to witness.

San Francisco parish ex-VP to host homosexual "slave" conference

It's being reported by The California Catholic (click on link for entire article) that a prominent member of San Francisco’s Most Holy Redeemer parish will conduct two workshops at the “Master/slave Conference 2010”.

Patrick Mulcahey is a past vice-president of Most Holy Redeemer’s pastoral council and has served as a eucharistic minister at Masses. Mr. Mulcahey’s prominence with the parish extends back at least to 2002.

On April 29 of that year, Mr. Mulcahey, identified as pastoral council vice-president, was one of those interviewed in a New York Times article profiling the church: “At a largely Gay Church, A Test of Faith.”

The Master/Slave Conference 2010, where Mr. Mulcahey will lead the workshops is an annual production of Master Taino’s Training Academy. Their mission statement reads "To provide education and support through a variety of methods concerning the Master/slave lifestyle."

Ohioans choose Bush over Obama in a liberal poll

In a recent poll, Ohioans by a 50-42 margin voters there say they'd rather have George W. Bush in the White House right now than Barack Obama.

Independents hold that view by a 44-37 margin and there are more Democrats who would take Bush back (11%) than there are Republicans who think Obama's preferable (3%.)

In the 2008 Presidential Election, Obama beat John McCain 51.2-47.2 in the state of Ohio.

Oregon city scratches 4th of July in favor of Mexican Independence Day

The city of Beaverton, Oregon has decided to drop the 4th of July Independence Day celebration, but will officially celebrate the Mexican Independence Day.

According to Fox News, the City of Beaverton will be spending $5,000 of the taxpayers money celebrating a foreign nation's independence.
