What do the two have in common?
~ We apologize for every wrongdoing, real or imagined. Especially imagined. After all, perception trumps reality.
~ There is no absolutes that remain of our past greatness, just varying degrees of present-day relativism.
~ If we say "I love you" enough, you'll end up loving us. We'll try to ignore the knife you hold to our throats.
