The Unraveling Of The South-Side Stooge
Objectively, reasonably... the conclusion that The Obamanation is becoming unglued
Helmet tip to Mr & Mrs NYPD
As we all know, Sarah Palin quipped at the RNC that the difference between Pit Bulls and Hockey Moms was lipstick. Then we all saw the home made signs at rallies that said "Read My Lipstick".
Only the most naive refuse to recognize the obviousness of this.
By the way, how did a guy from Hawaii cultivate an Urban-Black accent so quickly? Shameless pandering to the crowd.... or mob, as the case may be?

Vincenzo sent me the link to McCain's response ad, which is posted over at my blog. Excellent.
My thoughts on the accent exactly - if you compare his diction now to 4 years ago, he has morphed into the Jesse Jackson accent that he lacked when he was...well...working on the Southside of Chicago alongside Jesse Jackson!
The other thing that I've always found vastly annoying is how he has attempted throughout his career to identify with and attach himself to the downtrodden, 6-generations- removed ex-slave mentality, when he is a first-generation half-African, half-American.
He was in prep school in Hawaii growing up, not struggling with crime and pover-teh in the ghettoes of Chicago alongside those he wanted to "raise up." He has been a huckster for his entire post-law-school career, not the Second Coming.
He's also a classic carpetbagger, both in terms of geography and racial identity. In my kinder moments, I've attributed it to some sort of self-loathing, whether of the white or black part of himself, I'm not sure. You could argue either way - he does exclusively refer to himself as "black," which I've always thought was a mistake - embracing both sides of the racial divide would have been a lot smarter. But as this latest gaffe demonstrates, he is not fit to lead if he cannot anticipate the cost of his words.
he's coming unglued, and will destroy himself before he destroys the country
I posted the lipstick video as it's shown in a McCain ad.
Neal Boortz doesn't think Obama was really talking about Palin here.
As for a Hawaiian picking up the accent......maybe he took lessons from Hillary.
As I understand, certain religious organizations and possibly their sympathizers don't like pork products very much.... Just sayin'
*yawn* IMHO this is a mountain made out of a molehill. I think he was talking about McCain's ideas.
VSO,
In light of the uproarious laughter of the crowd, followed by the immediate smug smirk flashed by The Obamanation, I firmly believe that all present knew exactly who and what he was he was talking about.
It was a cheap shot... period. But do we expect any different from these people?
Whose he trying to be? Henny Youngman, Rodney Dangerfield? If this Barack HUSSEIN MUHAMMAD Nobama gets in...forget it!
