August 8, 2008, SACRAMENTO (LifeSiteNews.com) - California public schools soon will be planning "gay day" celebrations every May 22 unless Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger vetoes the legislation.
Thursday the California Assembly approved AB 2567, which designates May 22 as "Harvey Milk Day." The 43 to 26 vote occurred on party lines with Democrats for, Republicans against. Earlier this week, AB 2567 passed the California State Senate on another party line vote 22-13 - Democrats for, Republicans against.
The bill will require all public schools to "conduct suitable commemorative exercises" in commemoration of the anti-religious, homosexualist agenda of the late San Francisco Supervisor Harvey Milk. (That's a green light for the freak show to begin.)
"This bad bill will teach impressionable schoolchildren the anti-religious, homosexual-bisexual-transsexual agenda of Harvey Milk," warned Randy Thomasson, President of Campaign for Children and Families. (That's exactly what they want.)
"If signed into law, AB 2567 will mean an official day commemorating homosexuality, bisexuality, and transsexuality in California government schools…This will harm children as young as kindergarten." (Train 'em young. Imagine the Hitlerjunge with a prominent lisp.)
"The Democrats are so cocky, they have no qualms about pushing sexual indoctrination upon children in an election year. For the love of God, parents and their children, we implore Governor Schwarzenegger to veto AB 2567" Thomasson said. (Randy, you can't use the word "cocky", the PC phrase is "love-toolish".)
"Hitlerjunged with a prominant lisp"--how apropriate!
ReplyDeleteOne thing I'll say for Sharia Law (and only one) is that you never have to deal with homofascists. Oh Lord how long wilt Thou withhold Thy wrath?
ReplyDeleteIt'll be seen in other states soon. The peterpuffers and clamlickers will push for it in the northeast next. If you've got kids in school you might want to get REALLY involved with the local politics and school administration (distasteful as that might be).
ReplyDeleteNo wonder CA was all in a tizzy to ban homeschooling. When your "lifestyle" doesn't promote the natural family, you have to recruit members elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteI agree that the day shari'a law comes to this nation will be a wake-up call for all these anti-religious folk. I's not who I want it to go, but I can't help but say I'll feel minimal sympathy for folks who hate my religion and actively work to destroy it.
Reason # 3549210 for "Why I Send My Kids to Catholic School."
ReplyDeleteWe're asking for it here in Ca....(anyone willing to help me get out of Ca, all help is appreciated ;))
ReplyDeletePraying that this doesn't pass, as well as teaching my students to raise sand about this issue.
"conduct suitable commemorative exercises" um... just exactly what are they going to do? dress a la rocky horror show and do a marathon? *sigh* poor kids... hopefully it won't pass
ReplyDeleteWell golly, where's "Heterosexual Day" with it's commemoration of heterosexuals being blatantly persecuted by homofacists?? I mean, fair is fair ~ right??
ReplyDeleteThis is getting to be too much. I really don't know what to think about any of this homofacism that's taking place. It's like... I'm trapped in a bad dream... (I wish. At least then I could wake up.) So much for America being a "Free Country" any more.
