...and they need to understand the concept of spell check
We all know about those kooks at Westboro Baptist Church protesting at the funerals of fallen Servicemen... and now this. At first, I thought this was just an Internet rumor that picked-up speed. Turns out that it's correct. Here's their flyer;
Yes, they plan on picketing the Funeral Mass of Tony Snow. I know... sickening. But if it makes you feel any better, follow what complete jack-asses they make of themselves. Why do these mouth-breathers make it so easy?
Here's what they posted earlier today (first three and last three sentences, courtesy of MsUnderestimated.com) concerning the date and time of the protest, as well as the ad nauseum damnations against Snow;
Christ Episcopal Church (Lepor Colony) 118 N. Washington St. Tony Snow (Press Secretary for 6 “B” George W. Bush) is dead, YES! He had a platform, he was given some small talent by his creator. He was an unfaithful steward, and is now residing in hell.
And how appropriate that this brute, vain beast of a brat was raised Catholic, but then determined like his forefathers that oops! he’d rather be a filthy Episcopalian, instead. God hates Tony Snow, and that is why he is now burning in hell.

Too bad stupidity can't be painful.
By the way, from the AP;
7/14/2008, 2:40 p.m. EDT The Associated Press
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Bush and his wife, Laura, visited on Monday with the family of the former White House press secretary Tony Snow, who died of colon cancer at age 53.
Snow was survived by his wife, Jill, and their three children. The Bushes went to Snow's home in Alexandria, Va., and hugged family members on the porch before going inside.
The Bushes will attend Snow's funeral Thursday at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.
If "by their fruits you will know them", I don't like WBC's odds at the Last Judgment. But I'll certainly pray for them...in between shudders...
ReplyDeleteWhen our beloved student body president was brutally murdered this past year, those dumb-shits protested her memorial service (here) and funeral (in her hometown in GA). They basically said that she is in Hell because she went to a public university.
ReplyDeleteLuckily, they were banned from coming near the memorial (and I don't know about the funeral), and we had plenty of students on hand to crowd out them and their signs.
I know I shouldn't, but sometimes I hope they die slowly and painfully, only to wake up to St. Peter turning them away for being horrid, judgmental bigots.
I didn't realize the Basilica allowed furnerals. As for the Westboro people I hope that one day some relative walks up to one of them and beats the **** out of them and then pounds them into their ****.
ReplyDeleteTime for a blanket party? I want to be there!
