Beep, beep, beep, beep!
Warning!! Crude langua... blah, blah, blah
In the on again off again, in is out, up is down, wrong is right, world of the Archdiocese of Than Franthisco, it was first reported that Most Holy Redeemer Faith Community and Sodomotorium WAS going to participate in the anal... oops, I mean annual Fag-Fest better known as "Gay Pride Week". Personally, I find very little to be proud in the fact that one's rectum is turned inside out. That is unless your nom de bandit de trou de cul happens to be Blossom.
Anyhow, this little psycho-drama (heavy emphasis on psycho) hasn't come to an end juuuuuuuust quite yet. Here's some of the article from The California Catholic Daily; (Emphasis and comments mine)
San Francisco parishes won’t join this year’s “gay pride” march, but Most Holy Redeemer will have beverage booth
Two parishes with a history of openly participating in San Francisco’s annual “gay pride” parade will not be joining the spectacle this year after the city’s archbishop requested that they desist and because, according to their pastors, interest among parishioners has faded. (Or maybe they're all just dying off from the Anally Inserted Death Serum?)
Fr. Steve Meriwether, pastor of Most Holy Redeemer Church in San Francisco’s predominantly homosexual Castro District, said parishioners chose not to participate of their own volition. “It is really just our response to… well, we’re tired of the hate mail,” he said. ((Does that mean the the Letters of St Paul to the Corinthians (1 Cor 6:10); the Romans (Rom 1:24-27); and to St. Timothy (1 Tim 1:10) all qualify as hate mail?))
“The parishioners see their participation in the parade as an evangelical outreach, but they don’t enjoy being called nasty names either. This wasn’t because of any request from the archdiocese.” (Translation: screw you, Mister Mansy-Wansy, meany-weeny Archbishop!)
The June 1 Most Holy Redeemer bulletin, however, indicates the parish will participate in the weekend’s events by sponsoring a beverage booth near San Francisco’s Civic Center, next to the main stage, on Saturday, June 28. Members of MHR’s AIDS Support Group will staff the booth. “There’s a 100 percent chance we will not be in the parade this year, but the AIDS Support Group will have a beverage booth to raise funds for AIDS services,” said Robert Pementell, director of the group.
Holy Scripture is "Hate speech". Will someone grow a spine and S-can these buggerers?
ReplyDeleteAlmost off topic: I have published an open letter to the USCCB.
