Barack Obama Is JUST LIKE JFK!!
Surrrrrre......
1. JFK volunteered for military service. BO never joined the Armed Forces.
2. JFK volunteered for combat duty. BO never joined the Armed Forces.
3. JFK was decorated for personal heroism and was wounded in combat. BO never joined the Armed Forces.
4. JFK served in the United States House of Representatives for six years. BO never served in the US House.
5. JFK authored a Pulitzer Prize winning book. BO hasn't.
6. JFK served in the United States Senate for six years before he ran for President (a total of twelve years experience in the US Congress). BO served in the Senate for two years before he ran for President (a total of two years experience).
7. JFK supported the Armed Forces to the degree that the US Army officially named their Special Forces school the "John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School". BO didn't even bother to vote on the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2008, which among other things, reaffirmed support for all men and women of the United States Armed Forces, and allocated funds for veterans health services.
8. JFK was young, handsome and married to a beautiful woman. BO is young, hansdome and is married to a beautiful woman.
Yeah... Barack Obama is just like John Kennedy.

I think I'm gonna vote for Sauron and voldemort in 08--I'm tired of voting for the lesser evil.
ReplyDeleteWell JFK didn't write a Pulitzer Prize winning book either, it is commonly accepted that it was ghost written by Ted Sorensen. "In December 1957 syndicated columnist Drew Pearson, interviewed on TV by Mike Wallace, said, "Jack Kennedy is . . . the only man in history that I know who won a Pulitzer prize on a book which was ghostwritten for him." As much as I dislike Moloch Obama, he at least wrote his own books.
ReplyDeleteBut here are some other differences. JFK supported tax cuts, was against abortion, and supported a muscular foreign policy. Though he screwed the Cubans by backing down on providing air cover for the Bay of Pigs debacle when Dean Rusk forced him to call off air support or he would reveal to the press that the aviators involved were not Cubans that had been trained for the mission.
Plus Obama has no chance with Marilyn Monroe.
Well JFK didn't write a Pulitzer Prize winning book either
ReplyDeleteThe folks who award the Pulitzer beg to differ.
JFK supported... a muscular foreign policy.
That's what I alluded to on #7.
And who would be BO's "Marilyn Monroe?"
ReplyDeleteI like this comparison. The thought of this person or the other Dem candidate really scares me!
I stumbled across your blog about a week ago. It has been added to my blog favorites list. Thanks for the info and entertainment.
Chelsea Clinton interviewed a number of GI's returning from Iraq, and she asked one, "What scared you the most while you were over there?"
ReplyDeleteHe replied, "Osama, Obama, and yo' momma!"
Here's something JFK and BO do have in common. Neither one are (were) Catholic! Like Esau selling his birthright for a mess of pottage, JFK turned his back on the Faith on 12Sep60 when he told the Greater Houston Ministerial Association "I am not the Catholic candidate for President...the Church does not speak for me." How truly great he would have been had he had the nerves of Hilaire BELLOC when he ran for Parliament. During one campaign speech he was asked by a heckler if he was a "papist." Retrieving his rosary from his pocket he responded, "Sir, so far as possible I hear Mass each day and I go to my knees and tell these beads each night. If that offends you, then I pray God may spare me the indignity of representing you in Parliament." The crowd cheered and BELLOC won the election.
ReplyDeleteEllen asked...
ReplyDeleteAnd who would be BO's "Marilyn Monroe?"
Madonna?
"Madonna, Obama! Obama, Madonna!" (With no apologies to Letterman.)
Any of today's drugged out Pop-Tarts?
Oprah?
As in "Oprah, Uma. Uma, Oprah."?
ReplyDeleteThanks for clearing up the Marilyn thing. Not that it will change my vote if he is the Dem candidate!
