Poland To Remain Loyal To Christ And His Church
In the greatest tradition of King Jan Sobieski

After years of reading depressing news articles of how once-Catholic nations such as Spain, Ireland, Belgium, Austria, etc, have aggressively abandoned The Faith, it's nice to finally read something along these lines.

Could this be the shape of things to come? (emphasis mine)

Poland remains loyal to the Vatican

The strong position of the Catholic Church in Poland is not under threat, writes Miroslaw Czech, adding that the election victory of the liberal-conservative Civic Platform (PO) won't change this. "For the Church, the PO government and its wide support among the country's younger generation holds out the prospect that Poland won't share the fate of other Catholic countries like Spain or Ireland, where the process of secularisation has been particularly rapid.

Under the PO government, Poland will remain 'forever loyal' to Christ and the Vatican for a long time to come. Poland is not joining the European trend of secularisation and the renunciation of the fundamentals of Catholic ethics. Over the coming years, there will be no major shake-ups. Life will continue at a comfortable pace with baptisms, first communions, weddings and funerals."

  1. Speaking of countries abandoning the faith, lets not forget that Italia isn't exactly up there in remaining loyal either.

It allows divorce, abortion & a lot more that should never be allowed in what use to be a Catholic country.

Italia's allowing this is a infamia, a disgrazia that should never have happenned.

Amazingly, for now, they still allow crcifixes in the classrooms.

Pope John Paul the Great must be smiling in heaven at the news from Poland.

  2. I am sorry that this is off topic but I couldn't find a regular email for you. I thought that this would amuse you. You are listed under the heading Enemies as: filthy pigs who claim to be Catholic, on a blogsite found at: http://sevenoheight.blogspot.com/

See how famous you are? You are upsetting all sorts of people. LOL

  3. Deb,
Thanks for the heads-up. It certainly is telling how pathetic an individual is when they feel the need to post an "enemies" list on their blog, 'eh?

I take it as a badge of honor whenever one of these mental insects devote soooooo much time on their blogs to lil' ol' me!

Personally, I believe individuals such as her devote so much energy towards us because they're really hiding their own inadequacies.

  4. VSP, sorry I have been so out of contact latley, Dzien Dobry from Poland, I can attest that your post is 100% true, the faith is very strong here. Every Mass I have been to has been standing room only, many parishes have more men from their ranks being ordained each year than some entire dioceses in the USA. Go into a church, any time day or night and there are people of all ages praying rosaries, confessing etc, NO ONE does communion on the hand, and only about 20% of the people go up for communion (people who are not in a the neccesary state of grace know better than to commit such a mortal sin by taking communion without having been to confession lately.) Also, Mass in Latin is easy to find, one need only go to the Cathedral (among several other choices.) Also, Jan Sobieski is a national hero, his image appears on the label of a popular vodka, and there is a buzz here that a movie will be made about him starting Mel Gibson.

    Jezu Ufam Tobie!

  5. So much for loving your enemies and being a good Samaritain.

I just took a gander at her blog which is at a 5th grade level (public school) at best, and an immense vocabulary revolving around the F word and phrases such as: "pop lock and oh s*** my knee" and

"and then saying that a girl who got pregnant should not be congratulated on her baby. f*** you! what does he want people to do, shun her? actually, it probably is what he wants because he's an a******. everyone should thank him for adding to our anti-child culture."

Somehow I've never read such phrases from any Saint or heard such language in the Orthodox Church (or ANY church for that matter). If she's a Christian then I'm the King of all Irish.

Sarge given this woman is clearly suffering from arrested emotional development (I'll take a shot in the dark and suggest that she didn't get enough love at home) feelings of great inadequecy and rubbing elbows with pansexualists and a potty mouth that even Cardinal Mahoney wouldn't tolerate, I'd take it as a compliment.

    Just ignore her.
